Offshore Race Heritage

From early days around iconic offshore brands to hands-on work in the race pits, John Pompi has spent a lifetime around serious offshore powerboats. That experience shaped the standards that Marine Performance applies to every hull we touch.

Our rigs are designed with offshore realities in mind: heavy water, long runs, vibration and the need to access and service every critical system efficiently.

  • 30+ years working with offshore race boats
  • Experience with classic hulls and modern hardware
  • Focus on reliability, serviceability and safety

Rigging Philosophy

Clean, logical rigging isn’t just about looks. It’s about being able to diagnose, service and trust your systems when conditions turn ugly offshore.

We route wiring, plumbing and mechanical systems with future service in mind, using quality materials and hardware sized for the job. Where appropriate we modernize older boats with updated electrical standards, better hose and cable routing, and improved safety systems.

  • Logical layouts that are easy to follow and service
  • Quality components and hardware throughout
  • Painstaking wire, hose and control routing
